How we collect, use and protect your personal information when you use talentrade.co.
Who we are
Talentrade Ltd. ("Talentrade", "we", "us") runs talentrade.co. We are based in Canada and the UK. If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email hello@talentrade.co.
What we collect, and why
Newsletter and waitlist
If you subscribe, we collect your email address, your first name if you give it, and whether you joined the Fulfilling Horizons waitlist. We use this only to send you updates you asked for. Our email provider is Kit (kit.com), which stores this information on our behalf. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Contact form
If you send us a message, we collect your name, email address, organization (if given), topic and message, so we can reply. The form is delivered to our inbox by Web3Forms (web3forms.com). If you tick the box to receive updates, we also add your email address to our newsletter.
Emails you send us
If you email us or book a call, we keep that correspondence so we can help you.
Website basics
Our website host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to keep the site secure and working. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not currently use analytics.
Videos
Videos are hosted on YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, and only load when you press play. When you play a video, YouTube (Google) may collect information under its own privacy policy.
Our legal basis
We send updates only with your consent. We reply to your messages and keep basic records because it is in our legitimate interest to respond to enquiries and run our business.
Sharing your information
We never sell your information. We only share it with the service providers named above, who process it on our behalf. Some of these providers may store data outside Canada or the UK.
How long we keep it
We keep newsletter details until you unsubscribe. We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and for reasonable record keeping, and no longer than two years unless we are working together.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email hello@talentrade.co and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
